| Crowley Lake Closed Bridgeport Res. Closed East Walker The flows are at 31 cfs. Baetis and Midges are producing the best in size 18-20. The Golden Stone Hatch is just around the corner. There will be some ice along the bank, be careful! Upper Owens There is about 1"-2" of snow on the ground. Fishing has been fishing slow to good. Egg patterns, Midges, San Juan Worm and Baetis. There is a big storm coming in Monday. Hot Creek Baetis in the morning and Midges in the evening. Make sure to keep your flies SMALL, Like #20-26. You will have to deal with some ice in the slow pools. Lower Owens Flows are at 99 cfs. The Lower Owens has been fishing good in the afternoon. Baetis and Midges in #18-22. There has been a small Midge hatch in the evening. Pleasant Valley Reservoir Make sure to bring your thermies. PVR has been fish good with both Midges and Streamers. Brown, Purple or Olive Woolly Buggers and Matukas Owens Gorge Use dry/dropper rigs with #16-#18 Parachute Adams and Stimulator's as the dry. For Nymphs try #18-#20 Grey WD-40s, #18 Micro May, #18 Prince Nymph and #18-#20 Pheasant Tails. |
