Lower Owens

The Lower Owens is one of my favorite fisheries in the
Eastern Sierra. There are not many big fish but the sheer
numbers of fish make up for that. Your average fish is any
where from 12"-15" and any fish over 19" is a trophy. It's
not uncommon to hook up to 40 fish on a full day trip. The
Owens is great for beginners and advanced anglers alike.
At times the Lower Owens can one of the greatest dry fly
fisheries in California. You want to come here during the
winter for some of the best fishing you can find.
